Insurance

At Nomad Car Rental Corfu, we believe car rental insurance should be simple, clear and easy to understand. We offer straightforward insurance options with clearly defined excess amounts, no unnecessary complications and no hidden damage charges.

Drive with Peace of Mind

Our goal is to make your rental experience as stress-free as possible.

Depending on the insurance option selected with your booking, your financial responsibility in case of covered damage is limited to the applicable excess.

For customers choosing our Full Insurance option, the excess is reduced to just €100.

Basic Insurance

Basic insurance is included with every rental at no extra cost and includes third-party liability coverage, as required by Greek law.

In case of damage to the rental vehicle, the renter is financially responsible for repair costs up to a maximum of €600 per incident.

For greater peace of mind, customers can choose our optional Full Insurance package, which reduces their liability to only €100 excess.

Full Insurance with €100 Excess

Our Full Insurance option offers additional peace of mind during your stay in Corfu.

In the event of covered accidental damage, your maximum financial responsibility is limited to the agreed €100 excess, provided that the rental terms and conditions have been respected.

There is also no security deposit required.

This means you can enjoy your holiday without having a large amount blocked on your credit card.

*Please note that for drivers aged 20-24 the excess, when full insurance is chosen, is 300€.

What Does Full Insurance Cover?

Full Insurance provides coverage for accidental damage to the rental vehicle, subject to the terms of the rental agreement and the insurance policy.

It also includes theft protection.

In the event of an accident or covered damage, the customer is responsible only for the applicable excess.

What Is Not Covered?

Even with Full Insurance, certain types of damage are excluded.

The insurance does not cover:

  • Damage to the underside or undercarriage of the vehicle
  • Damage to the interior of the vehicle
  • Vandalism
  • Damage caused by misuse or negligence
  • Damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Damage caused by an unauthorized driver
  • Damage resulting from driving in prohibited or unsuitable areas
  • Damage resulting from violation of the rental agreement or Greek traffic law

Additional exclusions may apply according to the rental agreement and the applicable insurance policy.

Theft Protection

Theft protection is included in our insurance coverage.

However, customers must follow the correct procedure in the event of theft, including immediately contacting Nomad Car Rental Corfu and the relevant authorities.

The vehicle keys and any required documentation must also be returned to us.

If you are involved in an accident or notice damage to the vehicle:

  1. Contact Nomad Car Rental Corfu immediately.
  2. Do not leave the scene without informing us.
